ESPN is one of the worlds largest Sports Networks and is broadcast on TV in over 200 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Latin America.

From 2017-2018, I worked in-house at ESPN’s UK offices in London as a part of their Social Media team. The primary aim of the role was to post engaging content across their Social Channels and drive viewers to the news, interviews and features hosted on their website.

Due to the fast-paced nature of the job, I built up a range of templates which would allow me to quickly create graphics which would highlight interesting facts, stats and quotes in an exciting visual way.

More information heavy graphics were often turned into simple looping GIFs and on occasion, slightly more complex Motion Graphics were created in order to highlight big stories and link to exclusive news and interviews.

The content I created was posted across ESPN UK and ESPN FC’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts which reach a combined audience of 13.5 million.
