BT Sport is the home of live football, rugby union, boxing, MotoGP, UFC and is one of the UK’s leading sports broadcasters.

In September 2015, BT Sport began its first year of covering the biggest club football competition in the world – The UEFA Champions League.

Over the course of the 2015/2016 season, I worked closely with BT Sport’s Social Media Team to create a range of graphics that would tell the story of that seasons competition.

These graphics were displayed across BT Sport’s various social media channels, including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

The graphics were constantly developed throughout the year in order to keep things fresh and engaging for the target audience, with the pinnacle of them being developed for the final match between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

The final set consisted of countdown, quotes and animated stat graphics to raise excitement in anticipation of the final – Meanwhite line-up, half-time scores and a match winners graphics were created to keep fans in the loop as the game unfolded.
